Relax to the melodic sound of the horses’ hooves, snuggle up, and simply appreciate a slower pace together. Along the way indulge in delicious, handcrafted chocolate from Bernard Callebaut.
Your milk- or dark-chocolate box will be filled with 9 assorted dark and milk chocolates. These award-winning chocolates are made with sustainable couverture chocolate, simple ingredients, and no artificial preservatives.

Meet a Draft Horse!
Join us for an interactive, fun, and rare opportunity to experience the Tally-Ho family’s majestic draft horses! These powerful and strong horses have been used for centuries for transportation and heavy work. They are known for their intelligence, patience, and calm demeanor.
Guests will experience the calming energies of their horse through hands-on touch. Learn about the horse’s role in history and the future of these ‘at risk’ breeds. Gain insight into their care, comfort and training, and how Tally-Ho ensures they are living their best lives. If you choose, this tour can also include a short carriage ride.

As Halloween approaches, when the barrier between the world of the living and the dead is thinnest, we are more likely to experience sightings and ghostly energies. Experience the dark and twisted past of Victoria’s most-infamous haunted buildings and hear spine-tingling tales of their resident ghosts!
Your professional guide is well versed in Victoria’s rich underbelly of history and hauntings, and will take you by some of the most infamous sites. They will also take extra precautions to adorn your beautiful draft horse in brasses and ribbons, which are long-believed to help ward off evil energies; plus each horse will be dressed for the spirit of Halloween, with their own costume.

Wrap yourself in a warm blanket and relax to the melodic sound of sleigh bells and the soft footfalls of your horse, while we take you back in time through the quaint residential streets of James Bay. With your favorite holiday music playing in the background, we encourage you to warm up your vocal cords and delight residents with your amazing caroling skills!
The 30-minute tour travels through the residential area of James Bay.
The 45-minute tour travels through James Bay and along the Salish Sea Waterfront.
The 60-minute tour takes in James Bay, Beacon Hill Park and the Salish Sea.

For a (minimum) $40 donation, one of our beautiful draft horses will escort you on a private carriage ride through the Saanichton Village! Sing your favorite holiday songs, or simply relax and listen to the sound of historic sleigh bells and the rhythmic footfalls of your horse.
